Elise Lines

Elise Lines

After completing her Language & Marketing degree in London in 1996, Elise worked as a French assistant at Thames Valley University for 2 years. She then moved to Paris and worked for a record company for 4 years, before moving back to London and specialising in marketing and branding. After having her sons, she started teaching French in nurseries and primary schools. It made her realise that she really enjoy teaching children.  Elise has always enjoyed living in the UK but must admit that there is one thing she misses from France: the weather!

Fiona Adams

Fiona gained a degree in Spanish and French at the University of Sheffield and has spent some time living in both countries.   She worked for a few years for a specialist educational and music tour operator based in Derby and accompanied many groups abroad during that time.  She then completed a Master degree in Speech and Language Sciences at UCL and worked as a Speech and Language Therapist for 6 years in the National Health Service.

She moved to Wheathampstead in 2013 and started teaching Spanish and French for Lingua Fanatics in 2014.  She is keen to pass on her love of languages to others and believes that learning a foreign language from young age is a great thing to do!
